This book features over eighty artworks created during Fernando’s travels in Kenya, Romania, Italy, France, Ecuador, the Peruvian Amazon, and his home in California. They are constructed with a diverse range of mediums including bronze, stained glass, leather, charcoal, ink, metal, wood, masking tape, colored pencil, graphite, found objects, pastel, chalk, fish skin, and gold leaf. Also included in the selection are film stills from Fernando’s experimental art and film project, Majini, and Pearl Jam’s acclaimed music video production “Life Wasted.”
